Volunteer Staff
North Blanco County EMS has updated our program for individuals interested in volunteering. We have begun a reserve program for individuals with an EMT (or higher) certification that starts with a Reserve Academy. The Reserve Academy is 7 classes of 3 hours each, some in person and some on-line, that cover the basics of our service and essential skills. After completing the Reserve Academy participants begin their field training with a field training officer. Upon completion of the field training individuals become eligible to work shifts and standby events on our 9-1-1 ambulances.

NOTE: We have volunteers who travel from nearby towns to volunteer with us. Don’t let a few miles get in the way of a great relationship.
